How is Full Throttle different from Cattle Charge?
Both feeds are extremely palatable and often used at all stages of production. However, Cattle Charge is particularly designed for weaning stressed calves. Full Throttle has more energy and protein and is great for weaning calves that have been creep-fed on Cattle Charge. Full Throttle is easy on the rumen. You can expect better feed-to-gain ratio (F:G) and average daily gain (ADG) when using Full Throttle compared to Cattle Charge.
What versions of this feed does this come in?
It is available with several medicated options, including ionophores Rumensin and Bovatec. CAUTION: Be sure ionophores are not fed to horses or any other equine.
What are the feed’s uses?
Full Throttle can be used as a general cattle feed, weaning feed and creep feed.
Is Full Throttle organic?
No. MFA is adding products to fill the growing organic demand from our producers. (INFO HERE) However, currently MFA cattle feeds containing grain and grain byproducts are not verified as organic or non-GMO sources.

MFA Full Throttle with Rumensin gives your calves the momentum they need to perform. It’s designed as a weaning ration for calves that are eating well and would respond to additional energy and protein.

Calves on Full Throttle achieve faster gain with less consumption. This product gives you the flexibility to self-feed or hand-feed. Plus, Full Throttle is formulated with MFA’s own Shield Technology to naturally boost immunity and overall animal health.

Feeding Directions

Feed at the rate of 5 to 10 pounds per head per day to beef cattle. This 5 to 10 pound intake level will supply 100 to 200 mg per head per day of monensin and will achieve the effects of the medicated claim. 

Warning

A withdrawal time has not been established for pre-ruminating calves. Do not use in calves to be processed for veal.

CAUTION

Do not allow horses or other equines access to formulation containing Monensin. Ingestion of Monensin by equines has been fatal. Monensin medicated cattle feed is safe for use in cattle only. Consumption by unapproved species may result in toxic reactions. Do not feed undiluted. Feeding undiluted or mixing errors resulting in high concentrations of monensin could be fatal to cattle. Must be thoroughly mixed in feeds before use. Do not exceed the levels of monensin recommended in the feeding directions, as reduced average daily gains may result. If feed refusals containing monensin are fed to other groups of cattle, the concentration of monensin in the refusals and amount of refusals fed should be taken into consideration to prevent monensin overdosing. This product contains added copper. Do not feed to sheep.
