Feeding Directions
For Cattle: Increase the grain mix gradually, beginning with no more than 1 pound of grain mix per 100 lbs body weight, then increasing gradually to full feeding over the next 2 to 3 weeks. When on full feed, the grain mix consumption will be 2 to 3 lbs per 100 lbs body weight. Roughage should be self-fed from the beginning. Consumption of good roughage will at first be about 2 lbs (dry weight) per 100 lbs body weight. After animals have reached the full-grain feeding level, roughage consumption will gradually decrease. Cattle should consume a minimum of 3 lbs of roughage per head per day.
For Horses: Gradually feed up to 1% of body weight. Keep an ample amount of fresh, clean water before animals at all times.
